Get a new car!

Tiara has been breaking down every other day since I returned to work after the KL Shopping spree.

Last Tuesday, the radiator burst out with steam and a small "kaaboom"... before I reach the Inanam roundabout.

Tiara was in ICU and given a MC (Mechanic Certified unfit to work) during the long Merdeka Holidays...

I had to drive dad's car to work on Tuesday.

Yesterday, I drove Tiara to work and on the way back from work, it broke down in steam again...
due to the long jam at the Inanam roundabout, AGAIN... so frustrating!

Today, I drove dad's car again...

Tomorrow I will be driving Tiara... Please don't let me down again ya?

Mom dad already making noise about having the go get me whenever Tiara broke down and asked me to just get a new car... problem is "a new car" is definitely not in my "BAJET 2008"...

I had a relook at my finances and found out that I don't even have anything to sacrifice for the extra money for a car instalment... how sad? Sigh!

And I refuse to have another Proton... no way NO NO NO NO NO!

(anyway, I can't even afford a proton)

Wait till I can afford a beetle, hee hee hee

Below the Wind...

PICT0272

Sabah also known as the Land below the Wind...
and living up to its nick name
has to endure the typhoon tail occasionally...
and when that happens, tree will fell...

This picture was taking on route Bukit Bendera.

My Dream Car

It has always been the VW Beetle that captured my heart...
Oh... when I love something it's not the specs... nope it was never the specs
just the LOOKS.... :)

So don't ask me about the engine... I know nothing about the Beetle's engine...

To me, none other car can surpass VW Beetle's cuteness, ever, SERIOUS!

Sadly, I can't afford having one... and I don't know if I'd ever afford having one!!!

Curi Tulang

Literally, "curi tulang" means "to steal bones"...

This afternoon, I was sent for a Creditor's Meeting at the DGI's office at "little putra jaya".

but there were not enough creditors turn up and the meeting had to be adjorned until further notice... Travelling all the way... until the scorchy weather... and after waited there for about an hour only to be told the meeting is off, that's really a pain!

But, what to do...

on the way back... (undecided whether to head for the office or home which are of opposite directions)... I made a detour to the McD

hahaha... they're not selling McEgg... so I had regular fries...

then... I headed home! :)

So I've stolen bones today... my confession!

And was back home by 4pm! NICE!

Crazy Tiara

I was a bit scared of myself when I was driving on KK roads like a KL road mania!

If you're driving KK road, and happen to see a Crazy Tiara
speeding at corners and doing Inital Drift... that's me!

I'd speed to 80km on a village one way road...
overtaking other cars like nobody's business!

When I'm 'hindered' by a tortoise slow car in front of me,
I'd lose patience and can't resist honking at the car!
While overtaking, I'd give the driver a nasty look!

Gosh, I suddenly realised I've 'evolved' into a KL road monster!

Everytime, when I have the urge to speed...
I had to take a deep breathe and tell myself:
relax, it's kampung here!
no one is in a rush to go anywhere,
including yourself!

Sigh... what has become of me?!

Sunset Masjid Jamek

Sunset @ KL city... could be nice too...

Took this picture while waiting for the train to go home after getting some cases from BC Library... at around 7pm... there it was, the big orange, setting... behind the backdrop of Masjid Jamek...

Everyday the sun sets the same place, same time, but this is the first time I witnessed it...

Tuaran Road

On my last day in September KK visit, dad brought me all the way to Tuaran district to apply for MyKad... (later found out there was a branch in Inanam) . Took us 45min to reach Tuaran but we stay at Tuaran for less than 5 minutes! The process at the JPN Tuaran took less than 1 minit! I went in, no one was there, the guy took a photo of me, printed my thumbs, gave me a piece of paper said. "Tiga bulan!" (Ha? I'm 3 months pregnant? How you know just by thumb printing??? ) And that's it! By the time I got down from the office, my dad has just parked his car and was only half way up the stairs!

on the return route from JPN Tuaran was this tree

Tuaran town seems a lot bigger than when I last visited it I think at least 12 or 15 years ago... to have the famous beef dried noodle! I can't remember which of the shops there is the particular Kopi-diam, too bad! There are still some really old shops standing side by side with the new shoplots... I guess that's one of the Sabah feature, they build the new, keep the old!

Recyle?!

Drove all the way to Ampang to look for the Recycle Centre... only to be made a fool by the sign boards... arrowing to no where  Got so mad, end up thrashing all the recyclable items to the big city dumpster. So much for the government's encouragement to recycle... I collected half an apartment of recyclable items and no where to dump them! This Ampang trip is already my last hope. I used to send the items to Jusco Maluri, last year I was told they no longer collect recyclable items (although their website still advertise as so!)... and have since no where to "solve" my "storage problem"...

That's it... I had it. No more recycling!
