Stayed at the Tune Hotel during my shopping spree in KL, 21-25 August 2008.
The hotel is located right beside UniAsia Building across the road from the Sime Darby building...
Located 300 meter each from a Komuter LRT station and a Monorail Station (hotel in between).
This hotel is really a budget hotel. So you can see the room is very small... to make up for the space, the walls are painted artistically and you will see big mirror on the wall.
No free aircon, fan is free for use, but if you want cool air, pay for it. For 5 hrs of use, the charge is RM6.83. And once you used up the credit, the power will trip-off by itself... then you know your 5 hrs is up. Go reload your hotel card if you want more time :)
No wardrobe for your clothes either, but they did provide a few hangers on the side of the bed... :) Innovative?
You want a table to write things? OK, here you go:
See the beige color board? You can pull that down, it's a make shift table!!!
For your valuables? 
Tune hotel thoughtfully provided a small digital safe for use (free lar this one)
The bathroom is of comfortable size, with hot water shower... and I must say, the shower IS very refreshing... with the high powered shower head!
One thing... see the big square mirror on the right above the toilet? It's affixed on to a semi transparent glass... the pinkish line you see is painted glass, so when you turn on the bathroom light, pinkish ray will emit from the toilet into the sleeping area, hahahaha.... get a bit romantic mood there for you! (yeah, from the TOILET)...

Anyway, please note that Tune Hotel double rooms are all double room, they don't have two single beds for double room, if you take the double room, you have to share one bed! That's the thing!
ROOM SERVICE you ask?
NOPE, there's no room service (apart from making your bed every morning)...
there's no tv provided, and definitely no phone inside!
You want food then get downstairs to the kopithiam
So how much was it?
For a stay of 4 nights: RM245.16 only! (for two person, mind you!)
And I only needed 5 hrs of aircon (RM6.83)...
Hotel aircon always too cold for me... so we just turned on the aircon to cool down the room then turn it off and let the fan blow full blast... (some cool air from the hotel corridor is sipping into the room through the door anyway, hahahaha)!
How they manage to charge so low?
Well, apart from the no free flow of aircon, no room service... I think it's the advertisement boards they put inside the rooms:
So, instead of nice paintings, they hang advertising boards inside the room!
Talk about innovation! No one can beat Datuk Tony Fernandez!
Oh, they provide van service to LCCT too... I'm not sure but I think it was RM45 per head per trip...
Overall say?
I'd recommend the hotel to anyone who wish to go KL just for shopping.
And only stay in the hotel for a shower and a bed!
They have both! And that's it!
Will I stay there again? YES, definitely!
Advice, most worthwhile to go in pairs as the double room is best value for price.
Single room charges about the same rate! So even if you go alone, I'd think it better to get a double room, at least you could ask a friend to bunk in for the experience! Kee kee!
