Literally, "curi tulang" means "to steal bones"...

This afternoon, I was sent for a Creditor's Meeting at the DGI's office at "little putra jaya".

but there were not enough creditors turn up and the meeting had to be adjorned until further notice... Travelling all the way... until the scorchy weather... and after waited there for about an hour only to be told the meeting is off, that's really a pain!

But, what to do...

on the way back... (undecided whether to head for the office or home which are of opposite directions)... I made a detour to the McD

hahaha... they're not selling McEgg... so I had regular fries...

then... I headed home! :)

So I've stolen bones today... my confession!

And was back home by 4pm! NICE!

This hymn was written by John Milton who lost is sight at the age of 44 and his first wife the same year. He remarried 4 years later only to lose her in 15 months...

At the KK court building, there's this SLA room...

a waiting room for lawyers while they wait for their respective turns to appear before the judges in chambers...

There's a 1-2-3 seaters sofa set with a coffee table (you can order coffee from the court canteen)... right outside the door are rooms to the judges...

My first participation in the Penguin March of the Year...

It was SO HOT!

Imagine wearing three piece suit and with the Robe some more

and walking under the hot morning sun of Kota Kinabalu with clear blue sky...

With spectators "looking" at us as "tourist attraction"...

"the Penguins are marching!"

Our reward? Just food...

And I mean fast finishing food...

I was so stressed at work that I went out and "took-away" from KFC...

and had Colonel Burger for lunch...

sigh... I wish we have McD nearby...

but we don't have many McD in Kota Kinabalu... and the nearest is 15 minutes walk away... and the sun was so strong... and the weather was so humid and hot... argggggh!

It's one of those days that I feel like eating lunch...

So I "take-away" a Colonel Burger from the nearby KFC...

A small burger like this, with a bit of salal cream, two slice of breach and one piece of chicken meat cost me RM4.32!

Few days ago, I was having headache as a client demands a bankruptcy search on his Vendor who has only supply us his new NRIC number... without the old IC no, it is not possible to do a bankruptcy search on the person as it seems that the Insolvency Department's record before 1977, has only recorded the old IC no. So, if you search on a person who was born before 1977 using only his new NRIC number, chances are, the record will show the person clean!

So... as I was cracking my head how to get the old IC no, I suddenly remembered the SPR website... (I must say, I am smart!)

The SURUHANJAYA PILIHAN RAYA MALAYSIA provides the people chance to check their registration for as electorate... for me, this is the best online tool for NRIC check! Without having to go to the Jabatan Pendaftar, without having to pay RM10 for the name search, and without having to wait few weeks before I can get a result!

Hahaha, a very useful site indeed!

The nice beef noodle below the office decided to move...

today it their last day... so I made an effort to take lunch at her stall today...

good things never last... hisk hisk hisk!
